Ⰶ BEAR AND MARTEN (1993-2021): YUGOSLAVIA CROATIA ★ 5 KUNAS 2019! UNC MINT LUSTRE! UNCOMMON! Interesting type with bear and marten in lovely condition of pre-euro coinage. Marten is the reanimation of the archaic name of currency, attested by old manuscripts now in Russia. The design of the Obv. with state symbols playing the central role of a wreath is widely spread on coins of communist ideology, see for example a probe 2 kopecks of the USSR at sovmint.ru/katalog/2-kopejki/2-kopejki-1953-probnye/ online catalog of the USSR coins. It was put on the coin by Kuzma Kovacic, a local sculptor. His initials KK are on the Rev. The coin is a key date in the emission. KM#11 UNC!!! MINT LUSTRE!
